I have two decades of experience in graphic design and web design. My work experience and education are diverse. I’m at home carrying a project from concept to production. I have an excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, and CSS. And I’m proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Apple Keynote. I’m comfortable in both Mac and Windows platforms. Since 2014, I’ve been an avid toy photographer.
I was born into a family of artists and developed my eye for design from my childhood. I entered the field of graphic design in 1994 without a formal art education beyond junior high school. I began as desktop publisher at Kinko’s. I landed my first position as graphic designer at the Philadelphia-based Crawley Haskins & Rodgers, Public Relations and Advertising. In the late 90s during the growth of the Internet, I was hired as a senior web designer at NetReach Inc. in Ambler PA. After returning to school and entering seminary, I became a graphic designer in at Philadelphia Biblical University. Later, I fulfilled a lifelong desire to teach in Japan freelance designer. Since that time I’ve been a freelance graphic designer and web designer. Now I serve as the Creative Director of the Lausanne Movement.
